Privacy notice
This notice covers the International Art Festival site. It says what we collect, why, who else sees it, and how long we keep it.
Who is responsible: AlpenCrowd e.U., Geylinggasse 17/5, 1130 Vienna, Austria. Contact: mail@alpencrowd.eu.
The application form
When you apply, we ask for your name, email, business name, business website, where your business is based, whether you also have a company or tax registration in the other market, links to your work, and anything you want to ask us. We also record which creator page you applied from and, if you came through a link on one of our cards, which fair that card was for. We use this to review your application and to reply to you by email. The legal basis is the step before a contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b)). If you apply from the USA, our US company receives your application too, because it is the one that would work with you there. We keep applications [Greg: how long applications are kept].
Get your numbers
When you ask for your numbers, we ask what you sell, how many items you expect to sell, your usual price range, and your email. We use this to send you your numbers by email and for nothing else. The legal basis is the step before a contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b)). We keep these requests [Greg: how long numbers requests are kept].
Statistics
We count visits with Matomo, which runs on our own server. It uses no cookies and shortens your IP address so it cannot identify you. It records the pages you open, how far you read, when you start and send a form, and which link or card brought you here. Nothing is sent to a third party, so no banner is needed for this. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used (Art. 6(1)(f)). You can turn it off with the Matomo opt-out link [Greg: Matomo opt-out link or opt-out block here]. We keep statistics data [Greg: Matomo retention].
No ad tracking
This site loads no advertising pixels from Meta, TikTok, Google or anyone else.
Hosting and server logs
This site is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM in Germany. Every visit creates a log entry on the host with the page requested, the time, the browser type and the IP address. This keeps the site secure and running. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure site (Art. 6(1)(f)). Logs are kept [Greg: log retention].
Mails from this site, such as the confirmation of your application, are sent through our own mailbox on this domain, hosted by ALL-INKL.COM. When you write to us, your mail is stored in that mailbox for as long as we need it to answer you.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, object to our use of it, or hand you a copy. You can withdraw a consent at any time, without it affecting what happened before. You can complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority. Write to mail@alpencrowd.eu for any of this.
